Near North is an area located directly north of Chicago's Loop, east of River North and south of Lincoln Park. It is considered one of Chicago's most luxurious communities, which has created one of the most competitive real estate markets in the country. Navy Pier is another notable tourist attraction within the Near North boundaries, which underwent a $150 million redevelopment project that has transformed it into a year-round attraction and convention center.
